Laura Halttusen etäkurssit livestriimataan Zoomin avulla. Osallistujat saavat jokaisen kurssikerran jälkeen YouTube-tallenteen. Tallenteet ovat saatavilla vielä neljä viikkoa kurssin loppumisenkin jälkeen.
Voit rauhassa harjoitella kotona joko alkeita tai haastavampaa tasoa. Etäkurssit ovat noin 25 % edullisempia kuin lähiopetuskurssit.
Jazz Roots alkeet (12 krt)
Alkeistasolla saat lajin perusteet haltuun. Alkeiskurssilla opetellaan perusaskeleita ja niiden variaatioita, klassisia jazz– ja charlestonliikkeitä sekä tanssitekniikkaa. Kurssilla tehdään helppoja koreografioita ja tutustutaan myös improvisaatioon. Alkeiskurssi on tarkoitettu sekä aivan aloittelijoille että jo aiemmin jazz roots -alkeiskurssille osallistuneille. Koreografiat ovat joka kaudella erilaisia eli myös kertaajat saavat uutta opeteltavaa. Kurssi pidetään joko suomeksi tai englanniksi, riippuen osallistujien toiveista.
Kurssilla on 12 valmennuskertaa aikavälillä 20.1.-14.4.2021. Kurssille voi liittyä mukaan myös kesken kurssin, jolloin sinulle toimitetaan aikaisempien kurssikertojen tallenteet. Verkkokurssin hinta 90 € (norm. 125 €).
20-luvun Charleston (4 krt)
Kurssilla opitaan 1920-luvun charleston- & black bottom -tyylejä edustava soolokoreografia. Pysähdy hetkeksi 1920-luvulle ja sukella uskaliaan charlestonin pariin vallattomine twisteineen ja villeine potkuineen! Vähintään jazz rootsin alkeet käyneille tai alkeissa tällä kaudella käyville tanssijoille.
Kurssilla on 4 valmennuskertaa aikavälillä 24.3.-14.4.2021. Kurssikerrat ovat keskiviikkoisin klo 18:45-19:45.

Jazz Roots keskitaso (4 krt)
4 kerran kurssilla pääset kehittämään tyylittely-, tekniikka- ja improvisaatiotaitojasi entistä pidemmälle. Tarkoitus on löytää omia vahvuuksia ja hioa niitä sekä haastaa itseään uudelle tasolle soolojazzissa. Tällä kurssilla opitaan nopea ja menevä soolokoreografia haastavien liikkeiden ja rytmittelyiden kera rauhassa etänä treenate. Kurssi pidetään suomeksi.

Laura Halttusella on edullinen tarjous yksityisvalmennuksesta Cometsin jäsenille hintaan 70 €/h (norm 100 €/h), sisältäen alv 24%. Tarjous koskee keskiviikkoisin klo 20-21 otettavia yksityisvalmennuksia Comets Clubin isossa tai pienessä salissa. Cometsin salin koronarajoitusten puitteissa yksityisvalmennukseen saa osallistua maksimissaan 2 jäsentä valmentajien lisäksi. Tarjous on voimassa 10.2, 17.2, ja 3.3.2021.

Jazz Roots online courses
The online courses of Laura Halttunen will be live streamed in Zoom and the recordings are available in YouTube still 4 weeks after the course. You can practice at home either beginners or intermediate level in your pace. The online courses are about 25 % cheaper than normal classes.
Jazz Roots beginners (12 times)
In the beginner’s level you’ll learn basic steps, classical jazz and charleston moves, some variations of them and dance technique. The course contains some easy choreographies and easy improvisation exercises. You can attend this course with no prior dance experience, but also come back even if you’ve taken this class before because the class material varies. The class will be held either in Finnish or English, depending on the wishes of the participants.
The course consists of 12 classes between 20.1.-14.4 on Wednesdays 17:30-18:30. There is no class during the winter break 24.2.2021. You can join the course even if the course has already begun. You will receive the previous classes as recordings. The course fee is 90 euros (normally 125 €).
20’s Charleston (4 times)
In this course you’ll learn a piece of solo choreography representing the 1920s charleston & black bottom styles. Stop for a moment in the 1920s and dive into the daring charleston with its boisterous twists and wild kicks! This course is suitable for anyone having taken the beginners course/anyone who’ll be on the beginner level this spring. The class will be held either in Finnish or English, depending on the wishes of the participants.
The course consists of 4 classes between 24.3.-14.4 on Wednesdays at 18:45-19:45.
The course fee is 35 euros (normal price is 45e).
Jazz Roots intermediate (4 times)
On this level at 4 classes you’ll get to dig deeper and develop your style, technique and improvisations skills. This course is meant to be a safe space to learn and try new things, find your own strenghts and challenge yourself. In this course you will learn a fast tempo solo choreography with more challenging moves and rhythms. The course will be held in Finnish.
The course consists of 4 classes between 17.2.-17.3. The first class is an online class through Zoom and it continues if possible in April in the Comets Club. In case the course cannot be done in the Comets Club the course price will be corrected to the price of online course.

Private teaching offer from Laura Halttunen
Laura Halttunen has a great private teaching offer for Comets members 70 €/h (normally 100 €/h), including vat 24%. The offer is valid for private teaching on Wednesdays 10.2, 17.2, ja 3.3.2021 at 20-21 in the Comets Club. According to the valid restrictions only 2 members in addition to the trainer can be in the room.
