Rock & Swing GP Dance Competitions will be held in Helsinki at the premises of Rock’n’Swing Dance Club Comets in Shopping Centre Tripla (DOWN UNDER P4 level) on Saturday 3 October 2026 at 13:00.
Finnish rock and swing competitors, from sympathetic juniors all the way to international top couples, will gather to fill the floor with the joy of performance, technical mastery and dazzling dance performances!
During the competition day, spectacular boogie woogie, relaxed lindy hop, energetic bugg, athletic rock’n’roll, swinging rockabilly and fusku familiar from dance pavilions will be danced. In addition to partner dance categories, there will be a teams’ rock’n’roll formation competition and competitions in the rock’n’roll duo and solo categories.
The day also includes a Swing Fun show competition!

Boogie Woogie, Bugg, Lindy Hop, Fusku, Rockabilly and Rock’n’Roll
Clubs register competitors through the Finnish Dance Sport Federation’s competitor register no later than two weeks before the competitions, 19.9.2026. New couples, couple combinations and competition classes must be entered into the competitor register three weeks before the competitions, 12.9.2026. Contact your club’s competition representative to participate in the competitions.
Participation Fee for Competitors
First discipline €20/person and subsequent disciplines €10/person. The maximum fee for one competitor is €40. The Swing Fun Show competition is free of charge.
Pay the competitor participation fee in the online store by 26.9.2026. Add the name or names of the competitor(s) in the message field when making the purchase.
An invoice will be generated from the participation fee and there will be a name list of those who have paid at the door. If you pay the invoice after 26.9.2026, please show proof of payment at the door.
Competitors must have a valid competition license and insurance. Competitors are not insured by the organizer.
Open Swing Fun Show Competition
Registration for the Swing Fun Show competition is done using the form by Saturday 19.9.2026.
The show competition is free of charge and open to all participants, but you need your own partner to participate. Registration for the Swing Fun show competition is done as a couple and the competition is danced with your own partner.
Participation in the show competition does not require a license and competition registration is free of charge. The organizing club does not provide insurance for competitors.

- Student, pensioner, unemployed person, conscripts/civil service personnel, children (6–16 years) €8
- Children under 6 years free of charge
Tickets are sold at the door. Available payment methods are card payment and MobilePay (15375).
The doors open and ticket sales begin at 12:00. Seating is not numbered.
